Anna and Hunter were married in a gorgeous, formal setting at McGovern Centennial Gardens in Downtown Houston's Hermann Park . I worked with Anna, her mother and All Things Planned to create the details for their wedding weekend – mixing traditional, formal monograms with modern elements to create details for the most beautiful day!
The invitation was printed in black letterpress on Crane's 220# Lettra cotton paper with digitized hand calligraphy and their custom monogram on the wax seal. We extended the monogram to a custom envelope liner printed on metallic opal paper and, to bring a pop of color in, we included French Blue envelopes with metallic gold calligraphy addressing.
The monogram was truly a multi-purpose detail - extending from the invitation suite to the thank you cards, programs, welcome bags and wax seals on the seating chart. I love it when a little element brings everything together!
In addition to the wedding party and ceremony details, it was important to the couple to include the lyrics to their ceremony's worship music in the program. To include everything, we created a square booklet program featuring their monogram and tied it together with a black 100% silk ribbon. It's probably my favorite program of all time!
And, speaking of favorites, this seating chart might top the list, too! With hand lettering on acrylic, table assignments printed on ecru paper and a monogram wax seal, it was such a nice change of pace from a standard seating chart. We also extended the acrylic element through to the table numbers - the perfect accent that always compliments the gorgeous florals.
I also created so many other details for Anna and Hunter's wedding weekend - Save the Dates to Thank You Cards, Wedding Bag Tags, Rehearsal Dinner Invitations, Place Cards, Monogram Matchbooks and Napkins!
